Vancouver Coastal Association of Family Councils Forum September 18th, 2024

VCAFC holds regional family council forums regularly to invite our member independent family councils together to share their ideas and concerns across our VCH region. We support one another by celebrating positive stories about what family councils can do and we share and tackle the barriers to family councils being effective and sustainable.

We also ensure systemic issues across our long-term care system are teased out. These are priorities which should be tackled by our Ministry of Health. We raise those issues by way of the provincial association of  family council meetings. Our regional association representatives meet monthly to share with ILTCCABC the voices of their family councils.
